Another Sign of Spring

American Robins have returned to our front lawns. I saw my first Red-Winged Blackbird of the season yesterday. There hasn't been frost on the car windows in almost a week. But now, I think we can safely say that spring has arrived. The skateboarders are back downcity, having come out of hibernation from the winter. I was doing a bit of street photography at lunch today when I saw this teen boarding along the river. When I stopped to take a couple of photos, he suddenly got very active, jumping onto and off the stairs, and doing various acrobatics along the walk. We never spoke, he only looked at me once, but it was crystal clear that he enjoyed performing for the camera.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
