I stopped at Bold Point Park on my way home just in time to see this single Brown Crew member rowing past the boathouse under the watchful eye of his coach. Naturally, the coach was barking commands non-stop as they moved swiftly downstream. It was a slack tide at the time, so the rower had no tide with which to contend.

Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and boost white. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.

This is an unusual shot, I haven't seen this location before! A lovely capture and I bet you'd have to have strong arm muscles to be able to do this! x
