A Day on the River

A Day on the River

I stopped at Haines Point Park today, just in time to see a couple of kayakers heading in after a morning of paddling on the Barrington River. It was an absolutely beautiful day on the river with comfortable temperatures along the water and a gentle breeze to fend off the beating sun.

Post processing started with a neutral grey scale filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.

Such a lovely capture and it sure seems kayaking is a regular thing for people to do in your area! I think I should just move in, buy a kayak and join the club! ;)
