Providence Skyline

East Providence, Rhode Island
I was driving down Veteran's Parkway on my way home from work today, planning to stop at Bold Point before I hopped on the highway. Approaching Fort Hill, the site of an old Revolutionary War Fort that played host to Le Compte de Rochambeau and the French army marching towards the Seige of Yorktown, I noticed the nice contrast on the Providence skyline across the Seekonk River. The fluffy cumulus clouds in the background gave the image some depth, and I liked the way the later afternoon light was striking the highrises. This photo was taken from the East Bay Bike Path parking area on Fort Hill.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
