Holy Bird House

I made another trip to the Newman Congregational Church at lunch, today. I spotted this birdhouse on the side of the church the last time I was there, and wanted to capture it on a nice bright day. The birdhouse is modeled after the church as it existed before the parish hall was added onto it. Being a congregational church, I'm assuming it's not occupied by cardinals...
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
