The original plan for today was to photograph the grave of the only Mayflower passenger that's buried in Rhode Island. She's interred at the Ancient Little Neck Cemetery in East Providence. I did visit the site with a friend and her daughter, and did photograph the grave of said Pilgrim. On my way home, though, I spotted this lumberjack removing a tree from the top down. As it's not a common sight, the Pilgrim will just have to wait for another day.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and boost white. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
