Station Concourse #79

photo 80
There's been a lot of stories on the news last week about the new King's Cross station concourse which cost £400 million to build. Well it finally opened today and it is stunning. The roof reminds me a little bit of the British Library which I will hopefully get round to taking a shot of this year. It's also a little bit like St. Pancras (photo taken on the 13th of this month) as it has lots of shops and eating places for people to while away a bit of time before their train comes to whisk them off to...somewhere.

I like seeing images of movement in photos so I've taken yet another photo with a slow shutter speed.

Fascinating shot. The left wall looks like brownstones. The tourism board must have you on retainer! ;-)
