What is the meaning of life? Why are we here? If the entire world ended today would it really matter? Travelling into work today I started looking at the people milling around me – most of them probably rushing to work. Reminded me of an ant hill on a show narrated by David Attenborough. Every worker ant with a chore to do. Again...why are we here? I think my philosophical mood came from recent news events. Six children died in a fire a couple of weeks ago. Arson they said. A petrol bomb through the letterbox. They've charged the parents with murder! There's so much evil in the world that you can't even try to comprehend the reasons behind some things. I took this photo from the car window. Made me wonder what's happening behind those pretty flowering plants. Is everything okey dokey with the people behind the windows? Are they good people? I'll probably never know but it has got me thinking.
Big questions that I tend not to dwell on. I tend to look at the world through rose coloured glasses (and If i dont have them handy I take photos and put a rosy tint on them)
The odds are good that these people are fine.
Great shot for your mood! I try not to dwell on the horrible things I hear in the news, but its difficult to switch off completely to some of the horrible things you hear, especially as a parent when children are involved :( I like your way of thinking @monika64 !
