@kareenking My mother was born in Wichita but grew up in Great Bend. My father was from Hays. They both went to college at Fort Hays State College. Then my father went to Washburn Law School in Topeka. With the exception of time in the Air Corps and Law School, they lived all of their married life (72 years!) in New Mexico.
@mbemis Wow - what a small world! Wichita is two hours southwest of me. Hays is 3 1/2 hours away - just presented for a conference there a few weeks ago. I grew up in Topeka though, and live 45 minutes south.
