I have a dear friend who was diagnosed with ALS five years ago. She was recently given six months to live. She and I go birding 3-4 times a month. We felt like we won the bird lottery on our most recent adventure. :)
Starting from the top left and moving to the right, the following birds are identified:
Turkey Vulture, Eastern Phoebe, American Tree Sparrow, Red-Tailed Hawk, Red-winged Blackbird, Bluebird, Cowbird, Blue jay, Female Cardinal, Male Cardinal, Blue Heron, Killdeer, Meadowlark, Starling, Turkey, Harris's Sparrow, Guinea Fowl, Turkey, American Kestrel, and Northern Harrier
Gosh, what a wonderful day you must have had. Your camera must have overheated by the end! So sorry to hear about your friends illness, life can be so unfair sometimes
A great collage of all beautiful bird pic.`s. Fav.
Thank you for you visit and the great comment. You make me with blush.
I do admire you pic.`s and captures , They are so beautiful and full of nature . You`re a great photographer.
I can't believe how many birds you saw on this outing! And, I am glad your friend was able to join you on this adventure! I just found out that the husband of a dear friend passed away after fighting this disease for years, and he was pretty incapacitated the last few. I hope they find a cure in the near future!
Wow, what an assortment and what a collage, fav. Congrats on the PP appearance. I'm so very sorry to hear about your friend's illness, but so glad to know she has a friend like you
