WOW! These are just hanging in the trees? Cool beans and GREAT shot, gal! So, this is not a grill cover, right?! LOL! JK! And they will be extraordinary when it snows on them! =)

Such an awesome shot! Love the color---the red certainly draws the eye in very quickly. And your composition is simply beautiful. If it snows, will you take another photo? This is fantastic!

I love all the different patterns on the baubles. These scene is going to look extra special when it snows.

@marlboromaam Yes, maam. They're just hanging on the trees and look lovely like this. They also have lights and all kinds of other decorations. It'll be beautiful when all is powdered white with snow. Thanks for the comment!! (No "grill cover" in this one's yard. lol)

@myautofocuslife Thank you, Livia. The red certainly is an eye-catcher. I will get another photo when it snows . . am afraid that my p&s won't do it justice tho.

@rach_who Thanks for the nice comment . . this place will, indeed, look pretty nice when it snows. Will see what kind of photo I can get then.

@karenann Karenann, you pics are all wonderful!!! If you hadn't mentioned that you shoot with a P&S, I would never have guessed! I'm almost finished with my project and up until the day after Thanksgiving, all my pics were shot with my little P&S. :0)

@cfitzgerald Thanks so much, Courtney! I walked by there twice before I got up the nerve to walk in their driveway and take this. lol
posted December 6th, 2011
@daveanajao Thanks so much, Dave! No I didn't use selective coloring . . I just used some of the free picasa and free picnik to pop up the color that was already there. Usually I just crop and straighten and use de-saturation or warmify. That's all I have for now. lol Is there selective coloring on those two?
posted December 6th, 2011
@ladybug71012 Thanks so much Ladybug. Yes, all of our trees are very stark right now. Although I think that the "starkness" is pretty too in its own way. :)
posted December 6th, 2011
@denisedaly Thank you, Denise. Had to walk on their property to do it, and I didn't know if I'd get yelled at or not! lol

@cjwhite You're photos are wonderful because you're so talented, Carolyn. I, on the other hand, need all the help that I can get. Don't have photoshop or other processing help either . . except what's free. LOL :) P.S. Your word are VERY supportive and helpful tho, because I really feel at a disadvantage on the site at times.

@olivetreeann Thanks so much for that nice comment, Ann. I wish that the lighting had been better yesterday . . such a gray and rainy day. But you can only use what you have. Appreciate your kind words. :)

Hi Karen, If I were to buy a canon camera I would buy the 60D model both for price and performance.but thats just me okay? I am no expert lol!:-) but if my budget price tag is below 1000$ I would go for canon rebel t3i model. Check this link for more info - http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/slr_cameras I am so
excited for you!
