Im sorry to hear that you have been sick. Never fun but even less so while away from home. Hope you feel better soon.
I like your lake Huron picture although it could be any body of water anywhere. There is a universal appeal to this
@olivetreeann Thank you so much for the kind words and the fav, Ann. It was a relaxing place to be and was good for me to get away for awhile. Always appreciate your visits and support, Ann.
@marlboromaam Hi Maggie ... you are very kind! Thanks for the great comment and the visit. Always wonderful to have your support...how do you ever keep up with all of your followers?!! Get some rest, girlfriend.
Great composition, love the light on the boat and the positioning. A really lovely shot. Thanks for the comments on my photos, always lovely to hear from you. The end of your year is gradually creepint up, I know it still seems a long way to go but suddenly you're nearly done!
Holy Moly girlfriend! You have so many followers it took me forever to get to the end of the comments about this terrific shot. I love the simplicity!Capturing that boat with the golden hour light was a stroke of genius! It makes it pop in the shot! BEAUTIFUL! FAV
anything with a sailboat catches my eye. such a nice capture, KarenAnn. so sorry to read you are not feeling good. seems like that happens so often when people travel - you run into different germs or something. now you are home, perhaps you will get your feet back quickly. thinking of you.
Karenann, I really enjoy the lovely peaceful scene. Beautiful photo and I love the composition. Nice to see you back & hope to see more photos of your getaway. Please, no need to thank me for posting. I've said that before. It's hard for me to read all the thank yous in my notifications anyway....LOL.....just trying to save you time.
@maggie2@johnnyfrs@cimes1@deburahiru@annbo@catsmeowb@grammyn@jennywren@gabsview@scrappy@ladydi53@claireuk@gooner46@myautofocuslife@marlboromaam My thanks to you all for the kind comments ...yes, I appreciate your visits and support. I would never had made it this far without it. @grammyn My heartfelt thanks for the fav, Katy. One step at a time ... soon I'll be done. I took so many photos up there and hardly kept any. lol Maybe I just tried too hard! Still nice to get away tho. Take care. @cimes1 I feel so bad when I don't thank you (or anyone,) Carole. I would love to do what you're doing and just comment back on their photos. This does take alot of time and I'd rather be out taking photos. (Or doing other things that need to be done!)
@karenann Well, just a suggestion. So many others are doing it and it does save some time. Everyone understands and it's just hard to read "thank you" every day from so many people. I prefer that people comment on my photos instead....of course, you do both, but you don't really need to.
You know, Carole, I totally agree with you!! You are so right and I feel like what you're doing (thanking all ahead of time) is the way to go for me too. I will be doing that this week sometime. I am weary ... not feeling great lately. And this would help to save me time too. Thank you for sharing with me.
That little boat is so well highlighted in this picture, very beautiful Karenann. Lovely to see you getting some sea breeze at last I know you have struggled in the heat.
By the way Karenann I agree with Carol you are the most diligent person I know on 365 always thanking everyone so beautifully, nobody else does what you do even if we could. Give yourself a break girl & slack off ...you will wear yourself out & we love it but certainly don't expect that level of commitment from anyone !!! You are a little 365 gem!
What a gorgeous photo, Karen. You should frame this one. I do not want you to leave here permanently. Hope you will stay around or maybe we can e-mail photos to each other. I hear you with photos. I have tossed a lot also. It takes a ton of time to post, take photos, comment as you do and I try to. I may have to skip a few days and go back and fill in as it looks like you will do. Take care of you and so glad you got away. Wish you lived closer. It will be over 100 till Monday at least so it is hot beyond what I can tolerate but may go to the Zoo at 9am when they open one day and may have to go to the Ocean with everyone else under the sun. Take care. FAV
Incredibly beautiful. I'm always amazed by the Great Lakes. I've only seen one--Lake Michigan--but I thought I was looking at the ocean. They are great and so is this lovely pic.
Oh I wish I was there! You can just feel the wind on your face! Great capture! What's this about you leaving? You're one of my favorites! You're so talented....please don't go!
Beautiful simple shot, wonderfully composed with great light. I agree with the ladies......you are the best "thanker" but it is an incredible time consumer.......I had to stop, I prefer to view the wonderful photographs and comment properly..........don't feel bad.......If anyone has tried what you are doing then they will understand!!
Karenann this looks so beautiful and serene..brings back memories..my first and I had a sailboat and he took me (his wife) and a girlfriend of mine out on the boat. it was a bit breezy. now my friend and I we didn't know how to sail and Helmut (my X) fell overboard trying to fix the sail. the boat sailed much too fast for him to swim to it. I was terrified..Grace my baby was left behind with another of my girlfriends and all I could do was think of her..well we made it to shore and Helmut tried to swim back, another boat sailed by he told us and the guy's in there said if he swam out this far he can swim back too. well they circled and finally picked him up.. that was my one and only time on a saiboat.
@bruni Love your comment, Bruni ... I would NEVER get on a sailboat after reading your story! We sat there and watched them bring the sailboats in ... and could see that it was alot of work and took a team to do it together. They made it look easy, but I'm sure that it isn't. Thank you for the kind words ... I think that I'll just shoot pics of these and not go on one for a ride. :)
@ruthmouch Thank you for the support and kind words, Ruth! Most of all thanks for understanding. The time on here is wonderful and yet is wearing me down. I love photography and don't want to leave this site ... so I will do it the way you and others are. Much appreciated.
