My husband was about to get the train into town on Saturday afternoon when he spotted this little fella on the platform opposite. Suddenly he jumped down onto the railway tracks. My husband and another man quickly retrieved him. He had a collar on but no tag so my husband brought him home and the search for his owners began. We put notices out on twitter and the lost and found web sites and just as my husband was about to put up a sign in the local shop he met a couple frantically searching for him. Turns out they were only minding him for friends who are on holidays and he had managed to burrow his way out of their garden. The couple were thrilled we'd found him but I think my husband was a little disappointed we'd found them as I think he had fallen in love :-)
