Seventeen years ago I had my first experience playing midwife to our moggie. She insisted on giving birth in the bottom of my daughters wardrobe, and Rosie (pictured) was the last and smallest of the litter. As soon as the weather begins to chill she follows us around just waiting for a lap to snuggle on.
