"Two" by the Antlers is one of my absolute favorite songs. It's honesty is incredibly powerful! The whole album itself was written about the singer's marriage--he worked at a hospital, fell in love with a cancer patient, and watched her die.
This song itself differs from the traditionally sad songs about cancer patients and explains their story in all of it's anger and dysfunction. The singer finds peace in his relationship, finds beauty and meaning in his life through the fighting, mental breakdowns, and disapproval from their families.
