Curtains

I decided to slip slide my way down the pier to check out the ice. The icicles reminded me of curtains with the wind blowing through an open window.
It would have been curtains for me if I'd fallen into the drink.

Thanks to everyone's generosity my pic of the Chickadees made it to PP. Thanks very much. I'm thrilled.
It does indeed look like curtains. I think this deserves a fav on its own merit, but even more so because you took such a risk.

This one is absolutely amazing - must have been a pretty good wind blowing to have frozen the way they did. Believe these are the neatest icicles I've ever seen. Thank you for being so brave!

Remember in the old movies (like "Casablanca") when the camera faded away from the couple looking longingly at each other to the open window with the sheer curtains fluttering out? It was the filmmaker's way of signaling the audience that there was some hanky-panky going on. Well, Kathie, I think there's some hanky-panky going on out on the ice. Fav on this fantastic shot, and please stay off the ice!

Fabulous -- great leading line formed by the beautiful icy curtains. It must have taken some careful climbing/walking to get down to this icy area.

Why I am thinking of weapons of reasonable destruction, when icicles break down to icicle.

I wondered at first what on earth this was! Not living in snow country I didn't identify it quickly. Now I know - it's amazing! So like curtains :) Fav

How does the old joke go? If it wasn't for Venetian blinds, it would have been curtains for all of us. ha ha.

You are joking, that looks colder than the inside of my freezer, not that I've sat inside my freezer. Very impressive capture Kathie and an instant FAV from me. That reminds me of the time I was working in Calgary and it went to -25°C.
