Swinging Bridge by kathyladley

Swinging Bridge

This is a very old swinging bridge on the river. It has been there as long as anyone can remember.
Great perspective! Looking good!

Strong leading lines. Nice but scary... I would have to close my eyes to cross it!

Lovely shot - great perspective and pov. We used to have, what the kids called, the wibbly wobbly bridge - my wife would only cross with her eyes closed. :)

Kathy that is a lovely shot. I used to work for a group of companies that built bridges, so I have a passion about bridges.

Love this, fave. We had a swinging bridge over a local creek (Spring Creek). We often seined horney heads (minnows) and shiners (also minnows) for trot line bait from that creek. My dad and I were doing so one day and a cousin was along and went out on the swinging bridge and began jumping on it to make it bounce and swing. None of us knew hornets had built a nest under the bridge, but he soon found out!

@steampowered Haha! It would be scarier to cross with your eyes closed because it moves!
