do you have to do anything special to capture that amazing ray? I guess you needed a flash to help light the inside? I need to add this to my bucket list too. Maybe I can find some place like this in New Mexico in October....
@lesip Leslie, This was taken in the Upper Antelope Canyon on Navajo land in Arizona. This ray of sunshine comes in the canyon only this time of the year once a day. We had a Navajo guide to get to the right place at the right time to take the photo. I did not use a flash. An important part of this image was to have the white balance on cloudy to capture the correct color. My Exif info shows I used a iso of 400 and a tripod and a wide angle lens.Thanks for asking:)
Sensational shot Kathy. This is very similar to a shot that I saw recently that fetched the highest price ever for a photograph. I'll try to find it for you.
