Luke was feeling very itchy today - shedding is around the corner.....

Aww, great shot. Such a great sight, horses enjoying a good roll. And from the looks of it I guess it will be a lot of hair coming off.

@pum71 Thanks Muriel! Yes, Luke is quite fuzzy...they are already shedding, but that has more to do with the length of days than the temperature. It's still pretty cold here and we had a HUGE dump of snow this week.

Love it. My horse always waited until I had washed and brushed her before rolling but I never saw her roll in the snow.

@jankoos Poor Luke's owner rarely comes out to see him, so no one washes or brushes him. She use to compete with him, but now has young children and no time for him. :(
