My dream car, a Nash Metropolitan! They're no longer made, but they sometimes appear at summer car shows in the Chicagoland area. They're little and cute and I think it would be fun to drive one.
September 2015 - I dropped my Nikon L22 at the arboretum (on asphalt!) and it's definitely broken. :(
October 2014- finally reached 365 photographs and it...
This one had a couple of grocery bags and a backpack on the passenger's seat, and the license plate was the current Illinois design-- which makes me think the owner uses it for everyday transportation on nice days, which Saturday was.
When I was a kid there was one of these on our block.
I think it was an unusual sea shade of green with white like this one.
Maybe I'm thinking of a Renault Dophine. Not sure.
Anyway, they looked captivating even back then (1960's).
My next door neighbor had a Nash Rambler.
The Rambler didn't have the design pa-nosh of the Metro.
