I spent some time at my parents' house this afternoon. Their neighbors across the street were giving a party. As I was getting ready to leave, the children were enjoying pony rides up and down the block. This isn't a very good picture because I was hesitant to cross the street, but you get the idea. It's been a beautiful afternoon and very fun to watch the kids.
September 2015 - I dropped my Nikon L22 at the arboretum (on asphalt!) and it's definitely broken. :(
October 2014- finally reached 365 photographs and it...
How much fun is that! I was horse mad as a girl and loved to ride :-) those are beautiful houses quite different to most In the UK. We are afraid of wooden houses and fear they will lead to fires! I think it goes right back to the Fire of London 1666 after which brick took over from wood for buildings
@whippeteer@http365proj@missvicki@sunnygreenwood@digitalrn My mom and dad have lived on this block going on 47 years. It was such a surprise to see the lady and the pony giving kids rides up and down the block! Thank goodness the weather was fine so the kids were able to really enjoy it. Not sure but I think that's the guest of honor in the pink dress.
It must have been a "shocker" to see that cute pony walking down the sidewalk! I know that it would have been here in my small town! It's a great capture tho, and I love it!!
very cute pic.
