Since starting this project its amazing how you see the world differently and look at everything with a photographers eye. Having said that, today I was a little lost for a subject. Even though we passed a beautiful hawk close to the edge of the road,(but apparently its not good practice to suddenly stop when you see something you want to photograph when doing 65mph on the highway) . So I decided on a self portrait. This is what my family see at an annoying rate if you ask them as I am always chasing them down with my camera. I took about a dozen and then scrutinized them before choosing. Its funny though because I noticed some things about myself. First, I am going to have more crowsfeet around my left eye due to squinting and second, that I not only raise my little finger for drinking tea with the queen but also for taking photographs. Amazing what you see when you truly look at yourself!
