The creater (writer) of Mary Poppins, Pamela L. Travers, was born in Maryborough in Queensland, its happened I was in this town on Sunday, Her dad was a bank clerk in one of the banks at the time.
The Mary Poppins festival will be in the city of Maryborough on Sunday July 6th 2015
