Wybra Hall, Mangalore, Tasmania

This is now a private residence, but was once a Boys home. It was opened in 1956 and run by the government. It was a training institution and housed boys aged between 9 and 14. In 1979, Wybra Hall also started taking in girls. It was closed in 1988.
After you’re landscape photo I looked on Google Maps Where in Tasmania I could find Wybra Hall, it was amusing to read that it was closed, like it was a museum or something like that.
For a private residence it is quite large... Super angle of this beautiful old house.

@jacqbb @777margo thanks for the lovely comments. Wybra Hall was built in 1860 to be used as a private residence. During its time as a boys home, the story and life of the building and those who knew it became very dark. It is so impressive on the outside, but I'm not sure if I would like to live with the ghosts and memories left behind.
