Today we got up early at 2am, to drive 241 kms up the road to catch the 7.30am 'Spirit of Tasmania' Ferry from Devonport, Tasmania to Melbourne Victoria. This is the 'Spirit of Tasmania II' coming into port to drop off the passengers from Melbourne, before it turned around to take us to Melbourne on the day sailing.
The 'Day Sailing' took 9 hours, but we were lucky to have a cabin on board the boat so we could have some much needed rest.
We disembarked the ferry at 7.55 pm and drove another 116 kms to our hotel in Seymour for the night.
Unfortunately I did not change the time on my camera when day light savings finished, so it says 7.55am, when it should be 6.55am.
