Intelligence, delivered through the air, wrapped up in black. If only I could speak 'bird language' I would understand the wisdom he held so intently in his stare. How I wished that he could share.
On a day trip, we stopped in the middle of no where, really, and stretched our legs. As I walked around this bird caught my attention.
This little guy was so very friendly, playful and interactive. He followed me around, almost willing me to take his picture and talk with him. So I did. I have so many great photos of him, but this one I love the most, as I feel it captures the connection we shared, in that moment, with each other so beautifully.
