The Night Sky - Taken at 11.43pm.

After trying to photograph stars in the night sky for hours, I finally managed to get one I liked :)

Though this photo probably needed a slightly shorter shutter speed. I am happy with the outcome.

Onwards and upwards they say, I can only keep improving.
A wonderful shot. No light pollution in sight!

Nice shot.

Have you tried ISO200, f/5.6 for 30 sec? That is with my 18-50 zoom (1.5 multiplier) trying to get 50mm. There is some calculation about star movement and focal length that I can't seem to find at this time. I do remember the 50mm/30sec numbers, but that is force of habit.

@byrdlip Thank you for your lovely comment and feedback. This was taken using 13 sec. f/11 100 mm ISO 3200 using my Tokina AT-X PRO 100mm F2.8 D Macro Lens.

I will have a go at using my 18-55mm zoom lense and see what I get with the settings you mention.
