The Spotted-tail Quoll is said to be the largest member (native to Australia), within the the 'quoll' family. They live to around 3-4 years and the females can carry in her pouch and look after up to 6 young quolls.
Just love quolls! Adorable capture! (I teach Australia to my kindergarteners, and am always sure to include the quolls, mainly because they are so often overshadowed by the more "popular" creatures of Australia.) ;)
