Battle of Bull Run by khawbecker

Battle of Bull Run

This is the view today across the battlefield on Henry Hill facing East. During the American Civil War, this field saw action during both the First Battle of Manassas on July 21, 1861, and the Second Battle of Manassas on August 28-30, 1862. To northern Yankees like me, these battles are known as the battles of Bull Run, which is a creek that runs along this field farther to the East.
Really nice. I like how you placed the wooden structure in the left corner and centered the tree between it's edge and the edge of the photo.

Beautiful, historic, and very well shot. I like how the fence post points to the center-right of the pic and the distant tree line!
