Robert E. Lee's Arlington House by khawbecker

Robert E. Lee's Arlington House

This was the plantation house owned by Robert E. Lee when the Civil War broke out. It is now the center of the Arlington National Cemetery. The first Civil War burials are found along the perimeter of the old rose garden. The people in this photo are seeing one of the best views of the monuments in D.C. there is.
