I pass the Lincoln Memorial each day on my way to work and on my way home. When traffic grinds to a halt in front of the Memorial, I don't mind. It's a lovely view from a less photographed perspective.
This is a great view. Like the perspective down to the large "only" to the small people on the steps of the building. And all at a stop with the red brake lights! Fav

Nice. Like the taillights, light post, sneak peak of the trees and you can see all the people on the stairs. So nice that you take time to appreciate what could otherwise just be the long commute home. Passing the Lincoln Memorial -- not too shabby.
Funny, what you wrote is what I was thinking when I watched your capture at first... I wouldn't mind with that view. My son has to take the same route :) Beautiful capture.
This is a great highway drive-by shot. I can't believe what you get to see on a daily basis! DC is fantastic and so majestic with the monuments. You've captured that well (and I like your choice of b&w).
