@dollycreek Thanks, Christine. They bloomed while I was away for a week in the midwest, so when I returned they took my breath away. I kept exclaiming over the deep red blossoms to anyone who would listen. Southern flowers are so extravagant.
@taffy Thanks, Taffy. I agree. Red flowers are tricky to photograph. It helped that it was cloudy yesterday when I took this photo. It helps to tone it down a bit.
