Road to Appomattox

Along this old road, which leads to a town called Appomattox Court House, is the home of Wilmer McLean where General Robert E. Lee surrendered to General Ulysses S. Grant on April 9, 1865.
Such great landscape and of course such an important part of American history attached to it
