Southbound I-95

Traffic is such a large part of my life, so I try, on occasion, to capture traffic photos that reflect my experience. In trying to get to a church meeting tonight, this traffic jam presented an obvious obstacle.

Tomorrow afternoon should really be great traffic with the Nationals playing at home and Friday rush hour in our area ;-)

I believe one just before Thanksgiving last year while it was lightly snowing and windy from an overpass... painful.

That seems to capture the maddening frustration quite well. I remember driving up there many years ago and seeing endless traffic and very fast drivers on the freeways. I was glad when I got to Shenandoah National Park. :-)

This could almost be Toronto (except the signs look a little different)--we have bad traffic problems. I like that light on each vehicle.

It's not surprising, they are all on the wrong side of the road (Wink). Nice capture but I'm so glad I live out in the countryside where life is a bit quieter.

You are not alone! If my husband does not leave at a certain time he hits something similar on I-80 in NJ.

I can see a big difference in the reaction from those who live with bad traffic and those who don't. :) And, Heather, I'll inform the city that the traffic is bad because we're driving on the wrong side of the road. Ha!

D.C. and suburb traffic- horrible. Unfortunately, it´s the same in all western countries and now in China too. Public transport! Not only on bus lanes!
