Many-Tongued Mimic by khawbecker

Many-Tongued Mimic

The Latin name for the Northern Mockingbird--Mimus polyglottos--means many-tongued mimic. If surrounded by a variety of songbirds in the neighborhood, its repertoire is mellifluous. However, if it is in a neighborhood where car alarms sound off regularly, it will mimic the sound of the honking, blaring and sirens.
How funny!!! Wonderful detail and capture of this beautiful songbird!!! Enjoyed your information of his minic abilities!!! Lovely and a fav!!!
