Antebellum Chatham Manor by khawbecker

Antebellum Chatham Manor

Built in 1771 on a bluff overlooking the Rappahannock River opposite Fredericksburg, Chatham had an unparalleled view of the December 1862 Civil War battle. It served as a Union hospital. Today, it is a National Park Service property.

I like how the foreground in the capture has that tree branch which frames the building really well.
