Viewed from Riverside Park. I had a day off of work today and enjoyed a long bike ride. I stopped to capture this view of the 'Blue Bridges'. These bridges cross the Mississippi River to connect the states of Wisconsin and Minnesota.
The cantilever style bridge was built in 1940. The tied arch bridge was built in 2004 to support the increase flow of traffic.
This has such a cool shape to it with the double curve.
Looks like a fab spot to try some long exposures too - you could really bring out the reflection.
