The moon was just setting as the sun was coming up. This was what I saw when I opened my blinds this morning, and so of course I ran outside before getting the baby up. 5 mins later when I'd gone back inside to get Aubrey up I noticed the first sun hitting the peak of Mt Roberts, hence a second trip outside this time with Aubrey. I probably missed the magic moment somewhere in between the two.
I had trouble processing this as I wasn't happy with the blue. But when I changed the white balance and made the snow white it took all the blue from the sky. Any tips or advise here would be much appreciated!!!
Hi Lesley what a fantastic Photo you’re so lucky with the snow and I am very envies. Bot myself and my huskies are looking forwards to our first snow fall can’t wait! I’m thinking I will have to move closer to the North Pole LOL! Take care and happy snapping.
Beautifully captured moment! I love the position of the moon relative to the mountain. Wow that is a lot of snow...is it going to stick throughout winter or will it melt? Another beautiful photo right outside your house! Love your view.
@tinatmmc I think this snow is here to stay. We must have got about 20cms in the last 30 hours, but this morning is a lovely sunny day. The moon was up above the mountain again this morning but the clouds were hanging around the top of it so it wasn't so good for a photo. And I wasn't as motivated to get up and take one as I did a lot of shovelling yesterday and I'm feeling a little stiff!!!
@kiwichick Yes, all is good and I AM taking pictures! Check out what I've been up to! www.cristenfarrell.com Who knew, 365 would lead to this? I have been busy, but having fun! I am so torn about 365... I just don't have time for it as I am trying to get this business going but there are so many nice people I don't want to lose touch with! And I still love seeing everyone else's photos!
@pwallis - Me and my board are coming up! 8-) Lol!
