Snowflake

Day 7 - Macro. I've been looking forward to today so I could try taking a photo of a snowflake. Of course there was no fresh snow. And as I suspected I would need a bit of practice to perfect this. The extention tubes I have are so fiddly, or perhaps I just need some instructions on how to use them correctly. All the same, I kind of like it :)

very nice and oh so dainty! It seems the focus/dof is much better with extension tubes than reverse macro. Should I be buying some?

Thanks for all the comments and favs on my little snowflake. For those who asked I bought some very cheap extention tubes ($25 or so) and although they are fiddly you can get good results.
