I can't believe how old she looks here. School started with a rather chaotic gathering in the gym. Then the kids went off with their teachers for a short half day. I took a few photos but nothing really worked for me. I have a shot of all 3 with their cheesy grins but I didn't like it at all. And I've played with this photo for ages but it doesn't look anything like I wanted it too!! Oh well, some days are like that I guess.
My daughter was so excited to meet her new teacher and was really happy with her class this year. That makes me happy as shes never been big on school. Hopefully this'll be her year.
Oh good! I hope she enjoys it. First days of school are so chaotic, I'm sure especially with three! I find chaotic times the hardest photography opportunities. Even if you didn't get much you like, at least you have some shots to look back for memory sake :) She does look happy here! How was the first day of Kindergarten?!
@tina_mac Kindergarten went really well, although it was only 1 hour long! Today he goes back for 2 hours over lunchtime. @jannaellen Good to hear from you Janna. It's true, she's getting so big. I must have had blinkers on because I feel like I haven't noticed for a while.
This works well!! She is fresh and sweet and grown up yet still small.... centered on her with the chaos all around.. a more telling first day of school shot than most....
