Yay, my little camera seems to be back to its old self (for now). I took it with me to town to test it out, and it worked! All it needed was a reset, who would have though. I hope that it continues to work, but now that I've been looking at new camera's I have a back up plan!
It's done a very good job .. would it be the cold the effects it .. Out with a friend once on a very frosty morning and her camera would not work but was fine a little later in the day ..
@julzmaioro Not the cold, this camera has spent 8 winters in my ski jacket taking photos and videos of everything. I googled it and it appears many have had this same problem. I've had good use from it so I can't complain, but happy not to have to spend more money on a new one right now :)
It is interesting, you left big Perth for such a nice small town and found happiness for the family. We waited ten years to leave Perth for a small town in Huon Valley and we loving it.
