Physalis alkekengi by kiwiflora

Physalis alkekengi

'Chinese Lantern Plant'. Taken at Broadfield Gardens after our Tai Chi session. Inside the papery pod is a bright orange berry about the size of a marble. A bit like a gooseberry (same family).
Beautifully done, love that clarity, and the colour combination. (did you pop one???? :-D)

lovely complimentary colours. The shot is as calming as your Tai Chi session. :)

I love these Chinese Lanterns, but they are very invasive. I had to pull my up because they went wild and invaded everything. Very cool texture and details!
