Found these a little menacing and foreign from this kiwi's point of view. Not quite a tourist attraction and I wouldn't want to live in close proximity
They do make it look as if they are generating clouds. They are in fact just cooling towers so that is just steam (mostly) escaping so there isn't anything hazardous in it (probably!)
