Soon, we will get to vote in two binding referendums on the future of the New Zealand flag. The first referendum: If the New Zealand flag changes, which flag would you prefer? The 2nd referendum is to choose between the most preferred option from the five final designs and the current flag (shown at the top of the pole here). Opinions are divided but this winery appears to have chosen already! Oh happy days if that was all we had to worry about!
quite the little distraction isnt it, there are three of these flags flying in my neighbourhood of just 30 homes... i think we will keep the old flag and John Key wont have a new logo for the TPP
I like the combination of these two flags. We need to ditch the Union Jack and it is to similar to the Aussie flag and we kiwis don't want to be mistaken for Aussies........
Ahhh I have very strong views on the changing of our flag ! I love our flag, I love the history behind it . This capture grabs so many emotions in me !
@kali66 It will be interesting what happens with the voting but I do struggle with JK's agenda re the flag - 3 out of 30 homes flying the flag is an interesting statistic - I might have to do a count up around here.
@deliad haha - yes although it appears there is a lot of confusion with the Aussie flag - of course one way to tell the difference depends on the sport being played I guess.
@silverhorn Hey Rose - nice to have you back - love your profile pic. Good you have strong views - I don't think you are the only one there however I am keen for a change but not so keen on the current choices or the process.
