It was such a pleasant surprise to see that the building of the public toilet is finally underway in the bay. It has only taken four years to get resource consent - a process which has been fraught with frustration for the council due to a minority number of the local property owners holding up progress. Common sense finally!
@dide Yes they were planting more native trees and flax plants at the same time. The digger driver did an amazing job of removing the scrub whilst preserving the existing native trees. We are thinking of having a 'toilet' neighbourhood party to celebrate!
