Grey heron

I spied this heron stalking along the stream looking for food. Slim pickings after the flood washed out the debris but at least the water is running clean again not muddy.

A mixed up worried bird perhaps. The animal & marine world must wonder what on Earth hit them. So sad for all the upheaval!
