Our first day in Amsterdam - we took a Flagstaff canal cruise whilst waiting to check into our hotel. 1 hour, 2 friendly hosts and a couple of Heinekens made this a relaxed start to our sightseeing of Amsterdam. I was so engrossed in the sights and sounds I actually sat back down on my plastic glass of red wine - oops! Fortunately I had my black travelling pants on so it didn't look too obvious and the hosts were gracious - I guess it has happened before.What a waste of wine though.
