Silhouette sunset

Crepuscular rays at the setting of the sun.
I don't even know how to spell that let alone what it means! But I'm going to find out! Lovely capture of the sky at this time!

So much to learn - and this was a good one to look up! The definition was a little confusing because it seemed to say that the rays should appear on the other side of the sky - away from the sun. I couldn't quite follow it - but I definitely like your image. :)

@robz Yes I just checked that out and realised I got a little confused - I need to change the description. I still love that word though!

@maggiemae I just changed the description - it was meant to be crepuscular as it is looking into the sun. It also means a crepuscular animal that is active and looking for food at twilight and dawn. Some of the common ones include rabbits, deer, bears, skunks, bobcat, and possums! Amazing what we can learn isn't it?

@kiwinanna I was OK with how the crepuscular rays form - but got totally confused about how the anti- crepuscular one formed. Great words indeed though!
