family bible

Just received this from my aunt. It's the family bible from my maternal grandmother's side. From what I can tell, it's from 1843 :-)

That's a very nice family heirloom! Looks like it has a very thick leather binding. If it was mine, I'd probably bring it to the Antique Roadshow to see what's it's worth (because that's interesting, not because I think you should sell it). Does it list any births and deaths? It's really beautiful!

@russianblue thanks! the cover is pretty good.... the binding is coming apart... not sure how much it would be to restore it. I need to look into that!
