I had to collect a prescription this morning, on my way home I called in at Wyndley for todays shot. I thought this was quite sweet. The geese all lined up on a tree branch in the water, all preening.
I had to be at home all afternoon as we had the wasp exterminators in to deal with this years nest. Every year the pick on us, its normally somewhere around the roof, last year was the shed, now they picked an airbrick.
We've had a couple in the bathroom recently so i knew there was a nest again somewhere, but I drew the line on them yesterday. I was just starting to chill out in the bath with a book when one buzzed up the back of the bath (and my head) and hovered over my face. Eek!
I blasted two nests behind our house a few weeks ago. I'm not allergic to their sting so I get rid of them myself. we were picking grapes a while back when I got into a big next. I got stung 6 or 8 times. I can just rub a lot of household bleach on the stings and they are gone by morning.
Eewww to the wasps.
